Color Fibula cmyk
Standard equipment for all, who layout folders and other 4-colored prints themselves and hand over the files to printing companies.
Because of its small size, handy to use at the computer-workstation, size approx. 13,5 x 15,5 cm. The text is written in German language.
The Color Fibula is composed of a ring binder with a metal coil with cmy-color charts, which are printed on three different kinds of paper (glossy, matt and uncoated offset paper) and a CD-Rom for Macintosh and pc.
The cmy-Color charts with 10% steps (per kind of paper 11 pages = 1331 colors) will help you before printing, to adjust the colors of your document as they shall appear after offset-printing.
With the assistance of the files of the CD-Rom and the print examples in the book you can adjust your screen and check the color reproduction of your printer and scanner.
Accessorily you will find information and implementation about offset-print , color separation, screen calibration, black hue, shade of gray and color gradient, color of the skin, special colors and image resolution.
The Color Fibula contains 2 HKS-K color value charts and a (K)-Film-template. So it is a professional and compact tool for each graphic artist.
The HKS-K color value charts show the HKS-K colors in a four-color-print simulation each on glossy and matt coated offset paper. With the official cmyk-declaration for all HKS-K colors you will ease your work enormously.
A (K)-Film-template is an exposed film, which simulates in connection with the cmy- color charts in the loose-leaf, the portion of black in the colors of your document for offset print and in addition a mask for all color fields in the neighborhood.
Explanation for (K)-Film-template: the black-overprint in this color booklet is simulated by applying the (K)-Film-template and not, like in the other big color atlases, by printing the black color over the colors cmy.
