Pantone Plus Series Color Cards and Color Fans

Since 2010 there is a new structure according to the color tone and now there are 1341 PANTONE colors. The new color fans of the plus-series have chromatically organized color pages. Formerly (PMS-system) the colors were structured according to the introduction date. Newer colors appeared at the end of the color fan.
Now the colors are arranged from dark to bright. The numbers of the colors didn’t change. There is just a new arrangement. Because of that a color index was added to make them easier to find. The changed arrangement of the colors makes an intuitive color selection possible. Additionally new users get familiar to the PANTONE color palette in an easier way.
